I was at a party telling a friend about a book I’d been reading. It was around then that I realised I wanted to become a writer. After school I went to Kings College London and did a degree in philosophy – I worked little and played hard, somehow I still passed. Writers were good at spelling and had neat handwriting. It never occurred to me that I could be a writer. I wanted to grow up and be an actress, or a rock star, or maybe both. Throughout school I kept a diary, wrote bad poetry, song lyrics and stories. Eleanor now lives in London with her husband and baby son. Eleanor has also written the SAMMY FERAL'S DIARIES OF WEIRD series for younger readers. In 2010 Eleanor left England and travelled the length of the Americas with a laptop it was during this time that she wrote THE BLUE LADY. Eleanor devised the fiction series WILL SOLVIT and has written books under the pseudonym Zed Storm. She then worked as a children's book editor in Bath, where she was also part of the team that established the Bath Festival of Children's Literature. After leaving school she went to university and gained a degree in Philosophy. She's determined not to let another ghost get the better of her, but she might not have any choice in the matter.ĪBOUT THE AUTHOREleanor Hawken spent her teenage years at boarding school, where there was many an opportunity to tell ghost stories by torchlight. Helped by the rather hunky Nate (not that Suzy's letting herself get distracted, of course) Suzy sets out to discover exactly what happened to this girl. Is the girl real - or something altogether more sinister? Things like a mysterious grey girl running towards the abandoned boathouse in the dead of the night. Almost as soon as she arrives Suzy begins to feel watched, and she starts to see strange things. Unfortunately, that quickly looks unlikely.

Poor Suzy thought she'd never get over the terrifying events from her time at St Marks, but she's resolved to put all thoughts of ghosts and murders (and school.) behind her as she sets off to stay in her aunt's country estate for the summer. A gripping, spooky sequel to THE BLUE LADY
